Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept as sent. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report / Membership Report. Treasurer late and no formal report submitted. Abbreviated report for cash on hand $13,798.27. Last month’s activities: Books presented at formal receptions of NATO task force $116.74, parking for CPOA receptions $100 each night, reception for German task force 6/23 = $340.53, reception for British task force 6/28 = $301.08, newsletter postage for May and June newsletters $44.20. Motion by Chief Paul to reimburse Chief Short $200 and Chief Neary $100 for out-of-pocket expenses for receptions which exceeded budgeted amount. Duly seconded and approved.

• 501(3)(c) – We received certified copy of our articles of incorporation. Motion to give plaque to Ed Rumin, the attorney who did this pro bono. Duly seconded and approved.
• Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr spoke about the incredible time had during the formal on-board receptions as well as our CPOA receptions for the German and British navy ships. Pictures will be posted on our web site.
• Initiation – Master Chief Robinson spoke about need to buy into the new way or stop doing. Change is here. There will be no hazing. No training or activity without active duty member or active selres. Most of work is academic in nature, NKO (Navy Knowledge Online). Discussion. Brought up importance of sponsors. Non-Navy personnel approval from MCPON. Chief Schuchman co-chair. Chief Powell read his response to changes. Will comply with regulations and requirements.

• Chief Short spoke about Sea Cadet building. Discussed possibility of finding donor of building for us. Discussion
• Read thank-you card from USCGC Forward.
• Habitat for Humanity had 4 CPOA volunteers.
