Special Notes: Chief Pat Bowden returned from Iraq. He was a guard at a prison about 120 miles northeast of Baghdad.
                       Chief Schuchman returned from Kuwait where he worked with Force Protection.

Treasurer’s Report: Savings balance $2,179.18. Checking balance $3,011.29. Motion to accept report. Duly seconded and approved.

• Race – Chief Short thanked all volunteers. Made about $3,000. Next race is in March. Chief Lippincott noted that we have an excellent reputation with the vendors.
• Scholarship – NTR
• Philanthropy – Chief Powell gave update on Armed Forces Service Center which will be in January. Request from Reserve Center Toys for Tots.
• Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reported on Thanksgiving contributions to USCG. Received a thank-you letter from one recipient. Tonight, will have a Pizza Party with crew of Hue City. USS Kearsarge LHD3 will be in January for Navy League installation. The CMC was on the Nashville. Reminder about USS Gridley DDG101 reception and commissioning. December 16^th is Boat parade.
• Navy League – Gayle will no longer be the liaison.
• 501(3)(c) – All requested documents have been submitted to the IRS for processing. We paid the IRS fee of $300 and the CPA $1,500.
• Initiation – NTR
