Meeting called to order 1945. Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of
Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept October minutes as posted. Duly
seconded and approved. Reminder - minutes of all meetings will be posted on our website (http://www.pes1.com/cpoa/).
Treasurers Report: Savings balance $2,134.00. Checking balance $3,911.29.
Have sold 21 tickets for holiday dinner. No outstanding checks. Motion to accept report.

Committees
- Race Chief Short reminded everyone about the November races in Homestead.
Need volunteers. Call Mike Short at 305-542-4461. Chief Powell has orders for rooms but no
guarantees. Discussion about our contractual obligations to Americrown.
- Scholarship

Chief Powell gave update on Armed Forces Service Center.
Coordinator of AFSC has other commitments and will be unable to attend holiday party.
- Ship Liaison
Chief Neary reported that USCGC Seneca will not be arriving for
Veterans Day due to Optempo change.
- Navy League
Had pictures from Lone Sailor dedication. Gayle will no
longer be the liaison.
- 501(3)(c)
All requested documents have been submitted to the CPA for
processing.
- Initiation

- Gridley commissioning will be February 10th. CPOA reception will be February
8th.
New Business
- Nomination of Officers for 2007: President: Al Starr and Ron Roy. Vice Prsident: Stan
Lesser and Robin Viggiano. Treasurer: Jerry Lippincott. Secretary: Gayle Malone.
Good of the Order
- The Holiday Dinner tickets are now available, $31 per person. This will be at the Pine
Island Country Club on Friday, December 8th. Cocktails are at 1830, dinner
1900. Choice of entrees: chicken chardonnay, tilapia Mediterranean, roast prime rib au
jus.
- Chief Viggiano retirement January 5th at the Reserve Center.
- Need to order 100 more coins. Duly seconded and passed.
- Need to order more shirts. Duly seconded and passed.
- Special thanks to the folks who helped on the Bowden Gazebo project: Master Chief
LaCoursiere, Master Chief Robertson, Senior Chief Larson, Chief Viggiano and her husband,
Chief Gary Viggiano, Project Leader, Chief Lippincott, Chief Schuchman, Chief Powell.
- Hope to be able to greet Chief Bowden when he returns.
