Meeting called to order by Chief Buck McTee: 1930.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Lynn Drucker and Chief Correia spoke in support of the Pursuit of honor, Courage, and commitment 5K Run/Walk being held October 17^th at Hollywood Beach.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported $500 check outstanding. Checking $10,675.32, Savings $3,164.79, money market $30,351.01, totaling $44,191.12. Motion to accept report; duly seconded and passed.

Committees:

Race – Chief Short reported November races will be 19^th – 22^nd. Requesting volunteers. No one under 18. Will try to do 2 schedules each day. Sign upon website. TIPS training good for 3 years. Reserve drill shouldn’t conflict with race dates. Friday is late night.
Scholarship – Chief Powell read thank-you note from Shannon Reynolds.
Philanthropy – NTR
Sea Service Veterans Assistance. NA

· Ship Liaison – NA

· Fleet Week. NTR

· CPO365 – Chief Short noted very few from CPOA showed up for final event.

· Awards – Ordered plaques to go with letters of appreciation from Commander of NRD.

· Social Committee – Master Chief Robertson reported October 18^th is next bowling. October is cruise and 13 have signed up so far. Reminder to only go through David Hegstrom. Cruise dress: 1^st night is anniversary shirt or costume, 2^nd night khaki. Holiday dinner December 4^th. Dues paying members are free. Choices are prime rib, stuffed chicken, or Sea Bass Francaise. Need to sign up on website for dinner.

New Business:

Motion to buy plaques for 4 entities referenced above in Awards. Duly seconded and unanimously approved.
Motion to provide assistance for sailor to attend mentor’s funeral in amount of $300. Duly seconded and unanimously approved.
