CPOA meeting was called to order by Senior Chief Rosenberg at 1930
 
Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence followed by the Sailors Creed.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report:

·       Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr – NTR      

·        Fleet Week – Al Starr

o   Miami Dade Military Museum is sponsoring the event along with Broward navy days.

o   Venue for CPOA reception will be at the Miami Dade Military Museum with Dr. Attwood (CWO). We will invite other local commands. There is limited space for around 200 people. Dr. Attwood will coordinate food and refreshments. Three Kegs will be ordered as well as a cigar tent.

o   Mar 16 Round Up Club and Restaurant – Dancing, food and drink.

o   Apr 06 Chief Birthday Bash / CPOA rescheduled Holiday Dinner.
Where: American Legion Cooper City.

o   Apr 21 Reef Fishing - $65 per person
Where: 301 Seabreeze Blvd. Times: 0830, 1330 or 1930

o   May 7 – Fleet Week Reception at the
Where: Miami Dade Military Museum

o   May 11 – Sailors, marines interacting with Young Marines, NAS Richmond Sea Cadets. Where: Miami Dade Military Museum and Memorial

o   May 19 – Bowling
Where: Manor Lanes in Wilton Manors at 1400

o   June 8 Lips – drag queen show – TBD

o   TBA – Weekend cruise on Margaritaville of the Seas out of Riviera Beach.

o   TBA – Labor Day Weekend in Key West   

·        Old Business: 

o   Update on new website design. The design is liked. More information and colors, etc. (old minutes) needs to be added before it goes live.

o   T-shirt design

o   NRC Miami “Dining in” March 30 - Diplomat Beach Resort – Sponsored by NRC and inviting CPOA and NTAG (recruiters).
