Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept March minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved. Reminder - minutes of all meetings will be posted on our website (http://www.pes1.com/cpoa/).

Treasurer’s Report: Savings balance $7,191.92. Checking balance $9,722.44. Will investigate certificates of deposit. Have outstanding deposits and bills from reception. Motion to accept report. Duly seconded and approved.

• Race – Chief Short reported next race November. Have not received check from Americrown due to discrepancies which are being reviewed.
• Scholarship – NTR
• Philanthropy – Chief Lippincott sending $250 check to Armed Forces Service Center.
• Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reported Chief Petty Officers Reception a huge success.
• Navy League – NTR.
• Initiation – Chief Viggiano reported t-shirts have been ordered and they are planning a khaki ball again this year.

• Recognition to Coral Ridge yacht Club donors needs to be finalized. Suggestions included a $250 Lladro lone sailor and a Navy Memorial chief figurine. Committee will be meeting this month. Committee includes: Tim Neary, Mike Short, Jerry Lippincott, Norm Powell, Gayle Malone, Chuck Robertson, Pat Bowden.

• Holiday dinner preparations – Suggestion to use yacht club. Secretary will check on availability first week in December.
• Suggestion to buy a digital camera. Need to appoint a historian for the association.
• USCG initiation next Friday.
• Chief Short suggested purging the membership list for inactive members.

• Next meeting is June 7^th.
