Minutes from the Previous Meeting: Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved. Reminder – minutes of all meetings will be posted on our website, http://www.pes1.com/cpoa/.
Treasurer’s Report: Chief Lippincott submitted written report: savings balance $5,270.35; checking balance $20,556.11. Americrown paid for March races $3,045.50 which included the 1% accuracy incentive bonus. Total donations received to date for Fleet Week $14,600. Duly seconded and approved.
Committee Reports:
Race Committee – Chief Short reminded everyone to gear up for November races. | |

Ship Liaison and Navy League – Senior Chief Starr reported on Fleet Week and gave special thanks to the committee. Reminder that Iwo Jima reception 1800-2200 tomorrow. | |
Initiation – Charge Book instructions by Senior Chief Roy forwarded. |

DVDs from last year’s Fleet Week CPOA reception and ride aboard Patriot for USS Ponce chiefs available. |
Good of the Order:
Gayle’s birthday May 22nd. She has invited everyone to a happy hour at Bravo Ristorante (1515 SE 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale) from 1800-1900 that evening. There will be complimentary wine, beer, and light appetizers. Afterward, you can join her for dinner (at your own cost). You need to RSVP no later than May 16th if you can attend the happy hour, dinner, or both so that she can ensure adequate appetizers as well as seating for dinner together. | |
