Meeting called to order 1930.  Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting.  Motion to accept minutes as posted.    Duly seconded and approved. 

Treasurer’s Report:  Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $789.92, savings $1,005.77, Money Market $10,088.00.  Motion to accept treasurer’s report.  Duly seconded and approved. Have a few outstanding checks and deposits (from the races).

 Committees:

• Race –  n/a
• Scholarship –  NTR
• Philanthropy –  n/a
• Ship Liaison –  Senior Chief Starr reported  Boone reception very successful.  USS G.W.Bush will not be coming in February.  Three other ships may come February 11^th.  Fleet Week reception at Coral Ridge Yacht Club will be April 25^th.  Iwo Jima is lead ship.  Pre-meeting held with Ed Rumin and Ken Brown reported on by Master Chief LaCoursiere.  Broward County Council of the Navy League installation of officers will be January 22^nd.

 Old Business

• Mrs. Drago did an outstanding job planning the holiday party.

 New Business

• Chief Viggiano’s birthday party will be February 12^th at Bird Cage in Davie.
• Chief Viggiano spoke about a female pampering spa fundraiser.  Will discuss further at next meeting.
• January 30^th will have Four Chaplins Ceremony at the Coast Guard Station.
• This year is the 25^th anniversary of the CPOA.  A committee was established to plan the celebration:  Chief Neary, Chief Drago, Chief Viggiano, Mrs. Drago.
• Chief Drago is researching ideas for sponsoring CPOA receptions. Also looking at lunch wagons.

 Good of the Order

·       Senior Chief Roy will do spreadsheet of all fundraisers.
