Meeting called to order 1930.  Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting:  Motion to accept minutes as posted.  Duly seconded and unanimously approved.  All items posted on website:  www.cpoamiami.com.   

Treasurer’s Report:  Senior Chief Roy reported money market $10,115.43, savings: $3,129.84, checking: $14,721.13, outstanding checks: $750.00.  Total assets at $29,966.40.  Total cost for Fleet Week $13,338.  Motion to accept the treasurer’s report.  Duly seconded and unanimously approved. 

Committee Reports:

• Race Committee – Chief Powell reported NASCAR races will begin November 18^th, about 2 weeks before the Homestead air show.
• Scholarship – N/A
• Philanthropy – No current projects.
• Ship Liaison and Navy League – N/A
• Initiation – NTR

Old Business:

• Report on CPOA 25^th anniversary gala in 2012.  Committee includes Gloria, Robin, and Meloney.
• Meeting at NOSC.  Went well.  May have one in October.  September currently scheduled.

New Business: 

·       Ernie Pratt’s wife passed away in April.  Motion to send $100 donation to National Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.  Duly seconded and unanimously approved.
