Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.
Treasurer’s Report:
Treasurer unavailable. Tentative information available: $2,183 for rooms at
Homestead estimate and $280 for Holiday cocktail party. Exact numbers at next
meeting. Motion to waive Treasurer’s report until the next meeting. Duly
seconded and approved.

· Chief Short did not receive the check yet. Will get names for thank-you letters and certificates.

Old Business:
· Mobile Canteen: dead issue. No longer pursuing this.

New Business:
· Suggestion to have July 4th meeting on the 11th or alternatively on the 4th as a picnic. Tabled.
· Bylaws: Suggestion to have audit of books by someone independent. Need audit committee. Motion to remove term limit for Treasurer. Duly seconded and approved. Motion to add financial audit committee to standing committees with charge to audit books annually or as required. Duly seconded and approved. Motion to change Article 7 to read Holiday Party, not Christmas Party. Duly seconded and approved. Motion to change Article 9 to read Holiday dinner rather than Christmas dinner. Duly seconded and approved. Motion to change Station Miami to ANT. Duly seconded and approved. Motion to rephrase donates to various sea services associations as voted on by the membership. Duly seconded and approved. Final review will be next month.
· Will request speaker from Veterans Home in Pembroke Pines. There are 32 Navy personnel there including Sandy Ninager, WWII, 1st Medal of Honor in Phillipines.

Chief Leonard presented list of suggested events for next year. Suggestion to
research available cruises for next year.

Good of the Order:
1. RETIREMENT: Lou Kitchin retires in May 2013 after 33 years of service and will be moving to FT Myers.
2. DoD new IDs at Southcom have no SSNs.
