Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported no outstanding checks. Current balances: Checking $8,211.42, Savings $3,140.00, Money Market $10,225.73. Motion to accept Treasurer’s report. Duly seconded and approved. 29 people signed up for Improv event.
Committees:
· Race – (Mike Short/Norm Powell) – Chief Short reported only upcoming race in November 15th – 18th. Looking for help with berthing. Shirts will be provided if you didn’t get them last year. Black slacks. No one under 18 years. TIP training required.
· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reported Mary Ann Gray went to commissioning of newest sub. Broward Navy Days sent invitations to other nations for an international fleet week. November 9th, Seal Team muster at Fort Pierce, UDT Museum. November 11th Veterans Day ceremonies at cemetery. Pearl Harbor ceremony will be at Station Fort Lauderdale in December.
· Induction – (AJ Drago/Chris Marcello) Chief Drago reported this year was more of a challenge. The goal this year is to start working earlier.
· Awards – (Dave Cohen/Mike Short)

3. Departs from the Port of Palm Beach at 5:30pm, must be onboard by 1600. Lunch being served onboard from 1200-1600.

New Business:
· Motion to support USCG Aids to Navigation Team, Gannett, Opalocka, Station Fort Lauderdale, NOSC Sailor and Marine, Sea Cadet Spruance and Zeus divisions for Thanksgiving with $75 gift certificate. Duly seconded and passed.
· USCG Selectees raffle: Motion to purchase $100. Duly seconded and passed.
· BM1 Hamm reported a few members of first class mess committed to NASCAR. Requested participation from Chiefs placing wreaths on December 14th. Will send information to be posted on our site as this is a national program.
Good of the Order:
· Chief Leonard will be out for 2 weeks for foot surgery.
