Meeting called to order by Master Chief Chuck Robertson: 1930. Dinner by Selectees 1800 followed by meeting.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $23,030.16; savings $3,155.57; money market $10,264.12 with total $36,449.85. Three outstanding checks totaling $627.37. Motion to accept report duly seconded and passed.

Committees:

· Race – Chief Short reminded everyone race is November 13^th – 17^th. Remember to register on the web site. Free room if work more than one day. TIPS training good for 3 years and will be reimbursed. Black slacks, shoes, and hat. Shirt will be provided.

Scholarship – NTR Reminder that we can award up to 3 scholarships now.

Philanthropy – Chief Powell unavailable.

Sea Service Veterans Assistance. Chief Tedlow chair. Chief Drago co-chair. Chief Tedlow spoke about Navy Marine Corps Relief Society. Motion to look into this. Duly seconded and passed.

· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reminded everyone that the Fleet Week reception is for us. Theme this year: Year of the Women.

· Induction – Chief McTee reported family meet and greet moved to Saturday 16^th 1230-1430. Budget $400.

· Awards – NTR.

Old Business:

· Other events:

§ August 1^st Chief Leonard retired. Ceremony at Southcom at 0900. Had good turnout.

§ August 16^th Flamingo Gardens cancelled.

§ Bowling August 17^th 1300.

§ September 20^th SEAL UDT Fort Pierce. Cost is $8.00 with CPOA paying half. Suggested going with Sea Cadets for Veterans Day observance, bus $700.

§ October 18^th Xtreme Indoor Karting.

§ December 4^th Holiday Party.

§ Cruise – Suggestion to have Holiday cruise in January, probably the 16^th. Chief Leonard will check rates and dates.

§ Key West trip in April 2015.

New Business:

Motion to donate $100 for Family Meet and Greet on the 16^th. Duly seconded and passed.
Motion for 2 plaques to recognize the Fleet Week Cigar donors. Duly seconded and passed.
Motion to move forward of finding bus to take us to SEAL museum in Fort Pierce at $20 per person. Duly seconded and passed.

Good of the Order:

· Chief Drago had information on continued care for greay ara retirees not eligible for Tricare.

· Chief Bennett in hospital

· Thanks from Selectees.

· Free Marlin Game Mondays. Labor Day will be special recognition of Navy.
