Meeting called to order by Chief Karen Leonard: 1930.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $18,046.74; savings $3,158.21; money market $10,279.57 with total $31,484.529. Two outstanding checks totaling $1040.00. Deposit from NASCAR tips $600. Have 43 people signed up for dinner so far. Motion to accept report; duly seconded and passed.

Committees:

· Race – Chief Short said everyone worked hard but had a good time.

Scholarship – NTR

Philanthropy – NTR

Sea Service Veterans Assistance. N/A

· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr had 11 show up for dedication of Warrior. Presented Thanksgiving gift certificates. Pearl Harbor Ceremony 1400 Sunday.

· Fleet Week. Master Chief LaCoursiere reported inviting Coral Ridge Yacht Club members to holiday dinner.

· Induction – Chief McTee said Mike Butterfield overall head for next year. MCPON guidance hasn’t changed.

· Awards – NTR

Old Business:

· Binnacle list. Chief Rodriguiz surgery status good. Back in school. Appreciates support. Harvey Cohen’s wife fell and is in rehab.

· Other events:

§ December 5^th Holiday Party. Tropical Acres selected. Black Forest cake for dessert. $30 for guests. White Elephant gift exchange under $20. There will be several door prizes.

§ Cruise –Valentine’s Day

§ Key West trip in April 2015. Tentative date 17^th – 19^th.

New Business:

Want to plan to see Unbroken movie when it comes out.
January meeting will be moved to January 8^th.
Second round of Nominations and elections for 2015 Officers:
- President – Senior Chief Herrera ((1 vote), Chief McTee (20 votes), Chief Mohsin Ali (1 vote), Chief Tedlow(1 vote). Congratulations, Chief McTee!

- Treasurer – Senior Chief Roy only nomination. Congratulations!
- Secretary – Chief Pam Washington(0 votes), Gayle Malone(20 votes).

Good of the Order:

· Chief Powell’s birthday December 6^th.

· Reminder about Wreaths across America event.
