Meeting called to order by Master Chief Chuck Robertson: 1930.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.
Treasurer’s Report: N/A
Committees:
· Race – Chief Short has not received check yet. Chief McTee will work with Mike for next race. Chief Tedlow will backup Chief Powell.
· Ship Liaison – N/A
· Fleet Week – Master Chief LaCoursiere reported there will be a meeting this month. Suggestion to have new focus for charities for Coral Ridge Yacht Club letter for donation. Discussion about potential for supporting/sponsoring a wounded warrior. Master Chief Robertson will research.
· Induction – NTR
· Awards – Plaques ordered for previous presidents.
Old Business:
· December Holiday Cruise and Holiday Dinner December went very well. Special thanks to Karen and Gayle for the raffle gifts.
· 2014 events
o We will be attending the movie Lone Survivor, the eye witness account of "operation redwing" and the lost heroes of seal team 10. January 11th . Times are not published yet but will be available in the early week. A follow up email will be sent to tell you the exact time. Place: Ridge Cinema 8, 9200 SR 84, (954) 472 4940. Plan to eat an hour and a half or so in advance of the movie time at: Scruby's BBQ, 8990 SR84, (954) 370 2774.
o February 16th bowling. The CPOA will pay for two (2) games and shoes for members. Guests will be paid for by the members (this was voted on last year). The cost is 3.50 per game.
o Key West Trip. We are going to key west (finally) on April 11th, 12th, 13th. There is more than one military place to stay.
§ Navy Lodge Key (305) 292 7556, $99.00 per night (no tax) Strongly suggest you make a reservation as early as possible beginning February 11th. If you are not sure you can make it, reserve room early anyway. There is no penalty for cancellation.
§ Trumbo point annex (305) 293 4117. Standard room $60, suite $75. You may make your reservation 30 days out beginning March 11th.
§ If you do not already have a DoD base sticker on your car, you can stop at the pass and id office at Boca Chica on the way down. They are at mile marker 8.5. Office pass and id (305) 293-2806 0700-1600 weekdays.
o Will table discussion of other events until next month.

· Wreaths across America: December 14th South Florida National Cemetery Lake Worth. Senior Chief Larson participated and would like to have more participation next year. It is the second Saturday in December.
New Business:
· Happy Birthday to Chief Cohen, Chief Tedlow, and Chief Douglass.
· Chief Tedlow made a motion to endow a scholarship $500 for Spruance and Zeus divisions of Sea Cadets. Duly seconded. Tabled until Senior Chief Starr can let us know what Navy League supports.
· Flowers sent for passing of Master Chief Moseley’s wife.
