Meeting called to order by Master Chief Chuck Robertson: 2000.  Meet and greet with Selectees 1900 followed by meeting.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting.  Motion to accept minutes as posted.  Duly seconded and approved. 

Treasurer’s Report:   Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $23,656.53; savings $3,154.90; money market $10,260.20 with total $37,071.63.  Motion to accept report duly seconded and passed. 

Committees:

·       Race – Chief Short reminded everyone race is November 13th – 17th.  Remember to register on the web site.  Free room if work more than one day.  TIPS training good for 3 years.

 

 

 

·       Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reminded everyone that the Fleet Week reception is for us.  May have Royal Dutch ship next year.

 

·       Induction – Chief Bennett wants one main calendar to be better organized.  Chief Drago reported Khaki ball still be organized.  Pinning will be 16th at Southcom.  Final test at Camp Elmore.  There will be various stations and CPOA will have one.  Working football games for fundraising.  AD results came out beginning of august.  For planning purposes, there is a disconnect between Reserve and AD.

 

·       Awards – NTR.

 

Old Business:

·       Other events:

§       July 12th fishing at Sea Legs.  $20 for members.

§       August 1st Chief Leonard retires.  Ceremony at Southcom at 0900.  Dress blues with medals for participants only.  All others CPOA shirts or khaki.

§       August 16th Flamingo Gardens.  Cost is $15.00 or if group 15+, we can get group tour with narrated tram ride ($4 savings).

§       September 20th SEAL UDT Fort Pierce.  Cost is $8.00 with CPOA paying half.  Suggested going with Sea Cadets for Veterans Day observance, bus $700.

§       October 18th Xtreme Indoor Karting.

§       December 4th Holiday Party

§       Cruise – Suggestion to have Holiday cruise in January, probably the 16th.  Chief Leonard will check rates and dates.

New Business:

·       Bowling July 20th at 1300.  Members get 2 games free plus shoes.

Good of the Order: Pearl Harbor Ceremony December 7th.
