Meeting called to order by Chief Buck McTee: 1930.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence. Reminder 122^nd birthday of CPO.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $12,208.21; savings $3,160.83; money market $10,294.91, CRYC $24,800 with total $50,463.95. Outstanding checks zero. Have new donor giving $10,000/year for next 3 years. Discussed expenses associated with Reception. Motion to accept report; duly seconded and passed.

Committees:

Race – Chief Short reported interest in shift work.
Scholarship – Received one application
Philanthropy – Chief Powell sent email that continuing to research various options.
Sea Service Veterans Assistance. Chief Tedlow went to open house for organizations dealing with veterans. They are willing to come talk to us.

· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reported Fleet Week on track. Ships confirmed. Monday reception at Hard Rock. Our reception is khaki. SOY on Thursday at Pier 66.

· Fleet Week. Next meeting at CRYC April 23^rd. Anyone wanting to go on the yacht rides the day after the reception needs to sign up on our website for any available slots not taken up by active duty.

· Induction – Senior Chief Ron Zasloff noted CPO 365 sign-up sheet passed at last meeting.

· Awards – NTR

· Social Committee – Master Chief Robertson reported Chief Tedlow will plan fishing trip in June. April Key West trip 17^th – 19^th.

Old Business:

· Next quarterly meeting at NOSC June 6^th at 1700. Social at 1900.

· Bowling light turnout. Next May 17^th.

· May meeting will be May 14^th. July meeting on 9^th.

· Request from Chief Correia for beach clean up assistance.

· Need COMREL coordinators.

New Business:

New Shirts available. See Chief Short.
Motion to donate $1,000 to assist sailor who needs to return to Ghana for mother’s funeral. Duly seconded and passed.
Motion to assist sailor’s son with cancer $1,000. Duly seconded and passed.
Motion to name Irina, Chief Tedlow’s fiancé, as associate member. Duly seconded and passed.
USNS Comfort may come to Miami. Motion to fund reception in that event not to exceed $500. Duly seconded and passed.

Good of the Order:

· Harvey’s wife fell and broke her wrist.

· Chief Durso asked everyone to sign famed shirt to send to Hawaii mess.

Motion to adjourn: 2045. Duly seconded and passed.
