Meeting called to order by Chief Buck McTee: 1930.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported by email no checks. Checking $8,220.88, Savings $3,163.47, money market $40,330.19, totaling $51,704.54. Motion to accept report; duly seconded and passed.

Committees:

Race – Chief Short reported November races will be 19^th – 22^nd. Requesting volunteers. No one under 18. Will try to do 2 schedules each day. Sign upon website. TIPS training good for 3 years. Reserve drill shouldn’t conflict with race dates.
Scholarship – Chief Tedlow reported three winners: Shannon Reynolds, Megan Hall, and Amanda Leonard.
Philanthropy – Chief Powell sent email. Suggested might be opportunity to supply sea service dependant children school supplies.
Sea Service Veterans Assistance. NTR

· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reported no change on plans for Fleet Week 2016.

· Fleet Week. NTR

· CPO365 – Need to use Sea Cadet building on Fridays. Tentative training Thursday days and Friday evenings. Golf tournament September 4^th.

· Awards – NTR

· Social Committee – Master Chief Robertson reported Bowling August 23^rd at 1400. October is cruise and 13 have signed up so far. Reminder to only go through David Hegstrom.

Old Business:

· Family meet and greet august 15^th for selectees.

New Business:

A Selectee was fired due to Reserve commitments. Motion to assist with expenses $1,000. Duly seconded and unanimously passed.
Motion to fund Family Meet & Greet $200. Duly seconded and unanimously passed.
Master Chief Schmidt spoke about chief selectee needing assistance due to cancer treatments. Motion to assist with $1,000. Duly seconded and unanimously passed.
T-shirt design provided by Chief McTee. Motion to purchas3e 200 shirts for $2,630.30. Duly seconded and unanimously passed.
Motion to allow selectees to keep profit expected $1,369.70 if sold for $20 each. Duly seconded and unanimously passed.
Motion to underwrite cost of water, sodas, supplies for Sea Cadet building during training. Duly seconded and unanimously passed.
Dates for CPOA Holiday Party at Tropical Acres discussed. Motion to settle for December 4^th. Duly seconded and unanimously passed.

Good of the Order:

· Discussed reservists whose employers might need encouragement to support their needs.

Motion to adjourn: 2022. Duly seconded and passed.
