Meeting called to order by Senior Chief Ron Roy: 1930.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

Introduced Stan Bostic and thanked him for his help at the races. Motion to make him an associate member. Duly seconded and passed. Gave him a challenge coin.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $7,699.24; savings $3,166.11; money market $30,376.38; total $41,241.73. Total philanthropy to date: $17,611.78. Motion to accept report. Duly seconded and approved.

Committees:

Race – Chief Short reported over $1,800 in tips. Expenditures for hotel rooms and food. Gross receipts about $87,000.
Scholarship – NTR.
Philanthropy – Chief Powell read letter from Armed Forces Service Center and card from Chief Tedlow. Senior Chief Roy expressed thanks for card and visitors while he was in hospital.
Sea Service Veterans Assistance. NTR

· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr spoke about importance of the gift cards we give to deserving sailors, marines, coast guardsmen. December 5^th ceremony for Missing Squadron. December 6^th Pearl Harbor ceremony at USCG Station Fort Lauderdale. Had initial meeting for Fleet Week at Coral Ridge Yacht Club and will have Port planning meeting in January.

· Fleet Week. Committee will began planning. Will be indoor event.

· CPO365 – NTR

· Awards – NTR

· Social Committee – Master Chief Robertson reported Holiday Dinner tomorrow. Bowling January 24^th at 1400.. April Key West trip being planned for 16^th – 17^th.

Old Business:

· Final nomination and election of officers for next year

o President by majority vote: Chief Buck McTee

o Vice President by acclamation: Chief Christian Echeverri

o Treasurer by acclamation: Senior Chief Ron Roy

o Secretary by majority vote: Chief Jorge Herrero

o New Master at Arms Committee created. Chair Chief Brad Burke.

New Business:

· NOSC Miami Holiday Party. Motion to donate $500 for party to be held at Long Key Adventure Center in Davie. Semi-formal, no uniform. Duly seconded and approved.

Good of the Order:

· Have more t-shirts for $5.

· Thanks expressed for gift cards for Sea Cadets.
