Meeting called to order by Chief Buck McTee: 1930.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $14,094.34; savings $3,158.88; money market $10,283.50 with total $27,536.72. Outstanding checks totaling $722.00. NASCAR check received for $6,054.29. Annual audit completed prior to this meeting and no discrepancies noted. Motion to accept report; duly seconded and passed.

Sea Service Veterans Assistance. NTR

· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr thanked attendees for Pearl Harbor Ceremony. Fleet Week meeting with Strike Group next Wednesday. Concern about James Williams DDG command change. Other ships remain same so far. American Legion doing Four Chaplains ceremony February 8^th at 1300 at Coast Guard Station Fort Lauderdale. Marine Corps band and drill team coming during Fleet Week; need to confirm location.

· Fleet Week. Master Chief LaCoursiere reported meeting with Coral Ridge Yacht Club next week.

· Induction – Senior Chief Ron Zasloff will report to CPOA about this.

· Awards – NTR

· Other events:

§ Cruise –Valentine’s Day will be on Grand Celebration. Senior Chief Roy needs list of everyone going on the cruise. Summer whites first dinner and anniversary shirt second night.

§ Key West trip in April 2015. Date 17^th – 19^th.

§ Want to plan to see Unbroken and American Sniper movie when it comes out.

New Business:

New Committee chairs named. Chief Cohen will take care of hail and farewells, anniversaries, birthdays, and welcome aboard recognition. Chief Short will handle awards. Social Events committee chair Chief Leonard with Master Chief Robertson vice-chair. Chief Ali will take over webmaster duties. Motion by Senior Chief Larson to have an assistant treasurer; duly seconded and passed.
Motion to include Sue Ellen Powell as an Associate Member. Duly seconded and passed. Discussion about definition and responsibilities of Associate Members.
Senior Chief Starr spoke about Veterans Assistance program needing vet-to-vet mentoring for those attending school. Asked if CPOA can provide some assistance. He will provide more information. Would like Chief Drago to be POC on this.
Chief Durso reported on his trip to Hawaii and USS Arizona. Had pictures and mementos to share. Met with survivors; very moving. Motion to send 4 hats and shirts to the Mess. Duly seconded and passed.
Asked to reschedule SEAL Museum for this year. Chief Reynolds will research.
Bowling Sunday the 18^th at 1400.
Asked for creative ideas to spark interest in attending meetings.

Good of the Order:

· Chief Cohen’s birthday January 14^th, Chief Douglas 10^th, Chief Petrovske 7^th, Chief Tedlow 8^th, Bob Leonard 25^th.

· Bravo Zulu to Chief Leonard for Holiday Party

· Wreaths Across America December 13^th beautiful ceremony. Suggestion to donate to this next year. They did 13,000 wreaths in Lake Worth at about $15 each. Chief Drago asked Senior Chief Larson to research if we can adopt a ceremony.
