 Meeting called to order by Chief Christian Echeverri: 1930

Minutes from the Previous Meeting.  Motion to accept minutes as posted.  Duly seconded and approved. 

Treasurer’s Report:   Senior Chief Roy reported checking balance $11,057.97; savings $3,167.45; money market $30,402.15; total $44,627.57.  Motion to accept report.  Duly seconded and approved. 

Committees:

·       Ship Liaison – Fort Lauderdale Navy League event went well. And 4 Chaplains ceremony also went well with the American Legion Orchestra.

·       Fleet Week.  Fleet week at Hard Rock Café.  Reception on May 3rd at 1800 in Kakis.  There will be 2 destroyers and Strike Group 2.  Navy region CMCs are in control. Do we want the Navy Band to play? Do we want Pipe Major? ($225).  Cigar vendor will have $500 worth of cigars.

·       CPO365 – Fort Pierce, Seal Museum on February 19th.  We will have all South Florida commands combined.

·       Awards – NTR

·       Social Committee – Master Chief Robertson said only 10 people showed up for bowling in January.  Next bowling is in April 3rd at 1400. 
Key West trip Weekend of the 29th of April. 


Old Business:
Merge Khaki Ball and Cruise?  Senior Chief Starr – Khaki Ball is tradition, Let’s keep it that way!  Chief Drago – Seconds that.  Master Chief Robertson recommends that Khaki ball will be a week after the pinning.  Chief Drago puts a motion to keep the Khaki Ball and Cruise separated.  Duly seconded and approved.

New Business:

Good of the Order:

·       Senior Chief Starr lost his sister to a long battle to cancer.  The funeral will be next Friday.

Motion to adjourn:  2040.  Duly seconded and passed.
