Meeting called to order by Chief Monica Sions: 1930.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Senior Chief Roy reported no outstanding checks. Checking balance $14,708.23 savings $3,187.62, money market $65,682.45; total $83,569.30. Motion to accept report. Duly seconded and approved.
Committees:
· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reported 2 Japanese ships arriving in July. Messages sent to ship and consulate but no response. Their band will play at a free concert at the Morikami Gardens in Boca, Saturday, July 22nd at 1900. Suggestion to attend in uniform.
· CPO365 – Results for reservists expected this week. Will email revised schedule after results. Planning to pin on Friday, Khaki Ball on Saturday at the Marriott Hollywood on the Beach by Margaritaville.
· MWR – Master Chief Robertson reported only 3 signed up for fishing trip so it has been canceled. September 1st is FAU versus Navy game. Discount if we get 15 or more attendees. Sign up on our site. Uniform is whites, deltas for Marines. Bowling scheduled for August 27th. Suggestion to have Chiefs versus Selectees.
· VA Emergency Response – Master Chief Robertson reported he disbursed @250 to assist Marine. Discussed efficacy of the program.
· Awards – NTR
· CRYC – Master Chief LaCoursiere will schedule after action meeting when Joe Verderber returns.
Old Business:
· Decals for CPOA will be 4x4. Should be available by next meeting.
· Chief Powell reported thank-you notes from Malone and LaCoursiere families.
New Business:
· National and Florida CPOA having event October 11th-15th at Doubletree in Jacksonville. Senior Chief Roy will post the information.
· Chief Short made motion to have a 6 month trial offering a $50 drawing to increase participation. Discussion noted book assistance program is another way of encouraging attendance. This program is on our site for review with voting planned for next meeting. Duly seconded. Ayes 8, nays 10; motion failed.
· Motion to buy 1st beer for attendees. Duly seconded. Ayes 4, nays 7; motion failed.
Good of the Order:
· October 13th Dolphin promo for military. Information will be on our site.
Motion to adjourn: 2038. Duly seconded and passed.
