Meeting called to order by Chief Monica Sions: 1935.

Pledge of Allegiance, Sailor’s Creed and Moment of Silence.

Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Chief Roy reported outstanding checks total $1850.00. Fleet Week expenses to date total $13,065.41. Checking balance $6,010.42 savings $3,177.97, money market $35,671.76; Event $47,310; total $92,170.15. Motion to accept report. Duly seconded and approved.

Committees:

Race – Chief Short reported race paperwork due one month in advance of race so only 6 months left to plan to work, need new leads needed. All workers must be at least 18 years old. Need someone to assist this year as well as step up to chair.
Scholarship – Deadline to apply is July.
Philanthropy – Chief Powell sent flowers and cards.
Sea Service Veterans Assistance. NA

· Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr reported we may see 2 Japanese ships arriving 21 July.

· CPO365 – CPO 365-new guidance passed out. NRD announced that each command will have their own schedule but will come together on the weekends for PT, fundraisers, and INDOC. Meeting set for SEL’s to discuss the PQS.

· MWR – Fishing trip tentatively planned for July 22^nd. Navy Academy playing FAU September 1^st. MWR-October cruise is no longer on the table, everyone voted for going on the February cruise again.

· VA Emergency Response – Master Chief Robertson reported that Chief Powell has already disbursed $400.

· Awards – NTR

Old Business:

· Decals for CPOA will be 4x4. Motion to purchase 500 for $320. Duly seconded and approved

· Suggestion to do annual award for membership attending college to underwrite cost of textbooks. Master Chief Fagenbaum will send copy of Coast Guard guidelines.

New Business:

1. Business cards-tell Mike Short if you want them and what to put on them

2. Motion Robbie to get married

3. Proposal for book reimbursement for school expenses, post for members to review
4. $500 donation to the VFW approved

Good of the Order:

· Monica asked that we create SOP's so we can be sure to pass on all the knowledge required to take over each committee or AOR.

· NOSC Miami has new shirts, $20 a piece, NRD new coins $15

· Sean Hall leaving for Bahrain as a personal contractor for two years with Gina.

· Motion to adjourn: 2040. Duly seconded and passed.
