-        CPO birthday meeting was called to order by Master Chief Chuck Robertson at 1930.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence followed by the Sailors Creed.

-       Chuck – Happy birthday, and we are glad to see those that are able to attend and that everyone is staying safe and healthy. Welcome all new members and those who have not attended in a long time;

-        Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: agreed to pay $1,000 for the sea cadets building ”not processed yet”

Checks outstanding; 1072, $65 plaques / 1073, $324.76 website

Checking $6,465.59

Savings $3,209.50

MM $26,782.58

CD $15,695.18

Total $52,152.85

Motion to accept the treasurers report. Duly seconded and approved.

Committees:

Awards – Chief Short, NTR

·        Scholarship – Chief Tedlow, those that are eligible put in by Jun 30^th, requirements for yourself or children are on the website.

·        Philanthropy – Chief Powell, NTR, we have been reaching out to people with limited response.

·        Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr, NTR

·        Fleet Week - NTR

 ·        Season – Senior Chief Rosenberg, the board should convene in August with results being out in November time frame. Hopefully, we can incorporate a little more from the outside.

·        CRYC – Master Chief Lacoursiere, NTR.

·        MWR – Chief Tedlow, NTR.

·        VA Liaison – Master Chief Robertson, NTR.

·        Fund Raising – Chief George, NTR, we conducted a 50/50 at $5 a ticket.

Old Business:

 ·        Motion to pay $25 a month via check to the legion for use of the meeting space. “approved”

New Business:

 ·        SOUTHCOM is doing COVID vaccines to include family members 18 and over. Email with info to go out.

Good of the Order:

 ·        Happy 128^th birthday Navy Chiefs! Stay after the meeting for cake by the oldest, Ken and youngest, Grissel will cut the cake.
