-         CPOA meeting was called to order by Master Chief Chuck Robertson at 1930.
Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence followed by the Sailors Creed. 

-          Chuck – welcome our new members or returning,  MAC Natalie Arroyo, HMC Scott Behrje 

-          Minutes from the Previous Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as posted. Duly seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: 

Checks outstanding; #1087 for $1,908.20, for holiday dinner

Outstanding deposit; $120.00, from dinner and dues

Checking $5,716.19

Savings $0.00

MM $26,873.52

CD $15,760.35

Total $48,350.06 

Motion to accept the treasurer’s report. Duly seconded and approved.

Committees: 

·         Awards – Chief Short:
           The CPOA is going to buy 5 paddles for the ships during fleet week and  for the yacht club

·         Scholarship – Chief Tedlow,
           Apply by June 30^th, 2022.

 Philanthropy – Chief Powell,
           CPOA sent out 1 birthday card to Chief Tedlow. Nobody is sick or hurt. 

·         Ship Liaison – Senior Chief Starr, NTR 

·         Fleet Week – Master Chief LaCoursiere, 
           CPO reception will be held at Coral Ridge Yacht Club. The next meeting will be in
           February at the yacht club. More to report later. CPOA members are invited with khaki
           pants and CPOA collared shirts. 

·         Season – CMDCS Briody, NTR 

·         MWR – Holiday dinner went very well.

          Key West is now open except the Fly Navy bldg., planning a trip for April 22 & 23. Rooms
          are not available. We will keep looking and at possibly changing the dates. 

·         VA Liaison – Master Chief Robertson,
         Need to replenish funds. We have $450 for rent currently comming  up. Balance is
          currently $394.46. will ask for $700.00 to replenish funds. Motion passed and approved.   

·         Fund Raising – Chief George,
         Not invited back to BB&T yet, looking into F1 race, the race will run for 10 years. Hard
         Rock NFL possibility, main issue is getting bodies to participate.

Good of the Order:

·         Next meeting will be at the Hollywood legion on February 3^rd at 1930

·         AJ and Chris are doing dinner at Dania Point. He will put out info as it happens, feel free to join.

·         50/50 raffle after the meeting for $1
